The 8-UP+ RMGT 970 offers a variety of enhancements. There is a higher cost efficiency per job from the reduced make-ready time via plate changing automation and easier ink controlling. This has one of the smallest footprints in the industry for an up to 8 page sheetfed offset press. Monitors for displaying press information allows for better management of multiple jobs and overall digital workflow.​​

COMMIT TO PRINT WORLD TOUR

“The “Commit to Print” World Tour will have a stop at one of the plants that has recently installed the new RMGT 970 offset press,” states Rahul Kaushik, President of RM Machinery, RMGT distributor for Canada and authorized sales and service for legacy Mitsubishi presses in North America. “We have installed two of the new 8-UP+ RMGT 970 presses at a packaging plant and a major commercial printer in the US.” The new RMGT 970 press features the latest in offset press technology with instant LED-UV curing and greatly reduced makeready with the introduction of Automated Smart Assist Printing (ASAP). Additionally, over 80% of RMGT 9 Series presses running in North America are manned with a single pressman.
